Sarah McLachlan
I always knew I liked Sarah McLachlan. Super woman behind Lilith Fair who's kind to animals, super gorgeous, and still manages writes to girl power anthems like "Perfect Girl." And now, I have to say it, I like her more. Because Sarah McLachlan has a FLAW!

Yeah ladies. The Canadian-born musician came out in the wake of allowing herself to be picked on on South Park (further proof she's awesome, I say -- she has a sense of humor about herself!) to admit that she had a rough time in the wake of her divorce from husband Ashwin Sood. After 11 years, that's to be expected. But this wasn't just a little stumble.

McLachlan revealed the divorce almost ended her entire career. Burrowing into a deep hole, McLachlan said she thought she'd never make music again -- new stuff -- or even perform the old stuff:

Coming to terms with the fact that my marriage was a failure was devastating and very difficult. I blamed myself for a lot of things. It took me a very long time to get over it.

It's sad to hear anyone's dealing with divorce, and the fact that McLachlan has two children makes it that much worse. But the fact that she's out there, talking about it only makes her that much more likeable.

McLachlan has made a name for herself as one of those women in the music biz who could do it all. Lilith Fair was wildly successful in the 90s, and when it was brought back in 2010, it was dubbed a "charity success." She's sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. She's won Grammy's. She's made music that my husband has summed up as "feminine," and made it SELL. . . in essence selling "being a girl" to the masses.

I was beginning to think there was nothing she couldn't do. Now that I know there is, I'm going to pull out my Sarah CDs (yeah, I still have her on CD) and indulge today.

Do you tend to like celebs better when they reveal they're JUST like us?
