Did you hear Amber Riley perform the "Star Spangled Banner" at the DNC the other night? The Glee star gave us pretty much everything a performance of the national anthem should have. It was haunting. Respectful. Flawless. Do we really have to wait one more week until the Glee season four premiere to hear more out of her? I probably shouldn't admit the following, but what the heck. I've been watching the DNC with mixed feelings. I love seeing democracy in action, but there's that part of me that can't wait to see fall TV really get back into the swing of things. But we certainly got the perfect balance of the two out of Amber Riley, didn't we?![]()
